They filed through the moving pictures, as they were called into the Stadium, with just enough time to get an initial impression on who looked best in their plus ones.

Standout would have to go to the Netherlands. Nice cut. Good use of colour. Classy vibe.

Another that proved pleasing on the eye, but would take a more urban look, was the look on Jamaica, given a viewing below with the Usain Bolt.

We also like the addition of the cravat in the Romanian men’s and the San Marino women’s, but we have yet to find images. If we do, we will attach!

iamjonnyking has just come across the video of the new French national colours in Rugby Union, which have been unveiled.

With Adidas back as sponsor, it may not surprise you that they have decided to continue in the opposition direction from the darker jersey, which was Nike’s bright idea, in 2007.

One interesting reality of this release is the use of, “All Bleus“, some definite brand association with Black, but also likely indicates Adidas’s desire to intimately connect with one of the dominant forces in European and Northern Hemisphere rugby, in a similar way to All Blacks rugby.
