What can you Expect on this Blog?

If you are familiar with the on-line world of iamjonnyking, you will quickly perceive the sporting intersection on other blog shores, where this general focus will find an on-line edge.

However, let me elaborate a little under the following rubric:

Personally —> I am a social media explorer, which is to say that I am on a journey… reads all warm and fuzzy… Take it all in!  Well, it’s not!  That my friends is the stone cold truth… and my name is not even, Steve! I have desired to have an on-line web output that looked at the world of social media and how to maximise its potential as I navigate this journey.

But, this was not intended to be an isolated affair.

It may surprise some of you that I enjoy what looks good.  While it is true that this pursuit is very much in the eye of the beholder, we will also spend some time on the style that suits.  In a past life, I started and ran a retro clothing store for a number of years, and I even have the photos to prove it. Therefore, this has been an area of interest for some time, and we will intersect with this context in a sporting world, examining things that are only skin-deep!

Liking the look is also the crime if this design is your punishment.  Yes, with three photos… there… it may seem like I have put the X in Excessive… However, such underscores one blog concept as art masquerading as life!

While one may be more inclined to call this… fashion… we will take the edge off for all those rugby-heads who view this as a loaded term… while also acknowledging that this concept involves more than just fabric and a certain shape, as there is an individual genius or je ne sais quoi that gives oxygen to a given style.

Conceptually —> In light of all this, the plan of this stan is to blog the sporting world through the prism of a social media and stylistic world.  At times, there will also be explorations solely into the world of social media, as I seek to explore what it means to make the most of this communicative machination, however, the sporting intersection with this medium will dominate.

Reality —> News, Views, Interviews, Reflections, Interactions, Awards, and much to enthuse you on your way.  That all sounds well and good, but the proof of any blogging is in the reading, so you will have to stay tuned and read this for yourself.
