Carisbrook would be centre stage for much emotion on a Friday night, as the Super Rugby team that has been graced to perform on its presence, played it again, Sam; one last time!
Such a storyline would be worthy of reflection in a New Zealand sporting context, as Carisbrook has been an important component in witnessing a number of sporting codes self expression. However, with the furore that has erupted over the potentially long-term change of playing strip in the top left image, this was a running out moment for the last time that was thick with content!
Unfortunately, in the words of Highlanders Captain, Jamie Mackintosh, the home side would play a half from Hell, as the travelling Force would leave all, feeling very green.
While that match may receive comment in other blogging contexts, the historic charm and character of Carisbrook befits the following ‘romantic’ video reflection!
Carisbrook – Thanks for the Memories!
McCawesomeness!
Until Next Time
